Devin Hartness Smith concentrates her practice in the area of civil litigation, with particular emphasis on environmental litigation, wrongful death, personal injury, and business litigation.

Smith joined the firm in 2010 after graduating from the School of Law at the University of Georgia, where she also earned her bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, in journalism and mass communications. As an undergraduate, she interned at Southern Living magazine. In law school, she was named Outstanding Law Student for 2009 by the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers.

In Georgia, Smith has been admitted to practice before the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District. A native of Gwinnett County, she currently resides in Walton County, Georgia, with her husband and daughter.
